Hyderabad, the capital city of the southern state of India Andhra Pradesh, is the 5th largest city of India, commanding an ancient civilization & history and rich culture. Hyderabad is about 400 years old and is widely prominent for its natural beauty, mosques and minarets, bazaars and bridges, hills and lakes, and so on. Hyderabad is situated on the top of the Deccan Plateau at an elevation of 1776 ft., above the sea level, and spreads over an area of about 100 Sq. miles. Attached to the city is its twin city, Secunderbad, which is separated by the Husain Sagar, an artificial lake built during the time of Ibrahim Quli Qutb Shah Wali in the year 1562 A.D.
