Ajaygarh Fort: During the declining years of Chandela dynasty, Ajaygarh was their capital. It is during this period that the Ajaygarh Fort was constructed. Although the fort has lost some its charm, it looks attractive even today. The fort has a height of 688m and is located at a distance of 80kms from Khajuraho.

Panna National Park: Khajuraho City Guide - Another major attraction near Khajuraho is the Panna National Park, situated at a distance of 40kms from here.

is the largest of all the temple groups of Khajuraho. The most prominent temples of the group are the Lakshmana Temple, the Matangesvara Temple and the Varaha Temple that are a part of a single complex, the Visvanatha and Nandi temples situated near the above-mentioned complex and the Chitragupta, Jagadambi and the Kandariya Mahadeo temples a little to the west of the complex.
