Summer Festival, Mt.Abu

Held In the Month of June, it is organised in the one and only hill station of Rajasthan, which is the coldest place at this time of the year. Folk dances and a general atmosphere of gaiety prevails in this tiny hill resort and the tourist has ample time to relax and enjoy himself.

The summer festival is held every year at Mount Abu during the month of June. This is a three-day festival and is marked by folk music and dance performances. Several sporting activities like boat races mark this fair. The singing of a traditional ballad marks the beginning of this festival that is followed by traditional Ghoomar, Gair and Dhap dance performances. A special qawwali singing extravaganza is held for the benefit of the tourists. Mount Abu is a picturesque Rajasthani hill station, with steep hills and lakes.
